About the Role

The Department of Marketing in the College of Business at Illinois State University invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 16, 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Marketing Strategy and Sales courses, as well as other courses to support the department as needed.

Department & Program Context

  • The Marketing Department is within the College of Business, which has undergraduate and graduate programs accredited by AACSB International.
  • The department offers a marketing degree with sequences in General Marketing, Professional Sales, Advanced Marketing Analytics, and Integrated Marketing Communication to slightly over 1,000 undergraduate students.
  • The department offers marketing courses to a full complement of graduate students in the M.B.A. program and a new STEM-designated Master of Science in Marketing Analytics degree program, as well as an accelerated Marketing Analytics sequence and 4+1 program.
  • The department offers a B.S. and M.S. in Business Education.
  • The department includes 35 tenured, tenure track and non-tenure track faculty (with 16 Ph.D.s/D.B.A.s).
