Assistant Professor, Managerial Economics & Decision Sciences
Applications are invited for a faculty position in the Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences Department at the Assistant Professor level.
About the Department
The MEDS Department includes faculty in pure and applied microeconomic theory and in political economy. We invite applicants in economics and political science, or related fields.
Qualifications
- Primary criteria will be excellent recommendations, outstanding research potential, and superior teaching capabilities.
- Candidates must have a Ph.D. in hand or expected by employment start date.
- Strong theoretical and quantitative interests and abilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct innovative research.
- Participate in the school’s Ph.D. program.
- Teach required and elective MBA courses.
Pay
The expected base pay range for this position is $210,000–$240,000 for a nine-month academic appointment, excluding summer salary. Research discretionary funding will also be provided. Summer salary, including from sponsored projects, may also be available.
The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) experience, qualifications, years since terminal degree, training, field or discipline, departmental budget availability, internal comparators, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
