Assistant Professor - Internal Medicine (Gastroenterology)
Job Duties
- Provide gastroenterology care for ambulatory and hospitalized patients across KUMC campuses and affiliated clinical sites, including procedural and consultative services.
- Perform endoscopic procedures and other gastroenterology-related interventions consistent with clinical expertise and training.
- Provide inpatient consultations and participate in divisional on-call coverage.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support ongoing clinical, educational, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Educate and mentor internal medicine residents and medical students in gastroenterology and related areas within the clinical setting.
- Participate in departmental, divisional, and institutional meetings, conferences, and committees.
- Engage in scholarly activities, research, and quality improvement initiatives aligned with the Department’s mission.
Required Qualifications
- Certifications: Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology.
- Work Experience: Completion of a fellowship in General Gastroenterology.
