Job Duties

  • Provide gastroenterology care for ambulatory and hospitalized patients across KUMC campuses and affiliated clinical sites, including procedural and consultative services.
  • Perform endoscopic procedures and other gastroenterology-related interventions consistent with clinical expertise and training.
  • Provide inpatient consultations and participate in divisional on-call coverage.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support ongoing clinical, educational, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Educate and mentor internal medicine residents and medical students in gastroenterology and related areas within the clinical setting.
  • Participate in departmental, divisional, and institutional meetings, conferences, and committees.
  • Engage in scholarly activities, research, and quality improvement initiatives aligned with the Department’s mission.

Required Qualifications

  • Certifications: Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology.
  • Work Experience: Completion of a fellowship in General Gastroenterology.
