Assistant Professor Instruction, School of Medicine Physician Assistant Studies

Responsibilities

• Teach and participate in all aspects of curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation
• Mentor students throughout the didactic and clinical curriculum
• Engage in scholarly activity
• Advise students
• Serve on school and university committees
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Master's or higher degree from an accredited institution
• Current NCCPA certification (for PA candidates)
• Licensed PA in the state of Texas or eligible for licensure in Texas (for PA candidates)
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree
• Five years of clinical experience
