About the role

Develop and maintain courses, including online as well as face-to-face courses, across all three Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs. Participate in service activities such as School of Health Professions (SHP), university, and professional committees, as well as community service. Advise students.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain courses for online and face-to-face DPT programs.

  • Participate in community service initiatives.
  • Advise students.

Requirements

  • Academic doctorate (e.g., PhD, EdD, DSc) in physical therapy or a related field.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the U.S. and eligible for licensure in Texas.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Prior experience as a clinical specialist with expertise in integumentary rehabilitation and/or orthotics and prosthetics (O&P).
  • Preferred: Two or more years of teaching experience in DPT programs or related fields.
  • Preferred: Established expertise in teaching and learning in online environments.

Physical location: Galveston, TX - School of Health Professions.
