About the role
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a full time Assistant Professor-in-Residence in the Department of Healthcare Administration & Policy in the School of Public Health.
Responsibilities
- Carry a 4/4 teaching load
- Teach undergraduate/graduate courses in the U.S. healthcare system, organizational management and/or healthcare marketing
- Engage in service and community activities
Requirements
- PhD degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university
- At least two years of teaching experience in related fields
- Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date
Qualifications
- Background in healthcare finance and accounting, healthcare payment systems, health information and technology systems, and/or change management is preferred
Skills
- Ability to teach undergraduate/graduate courses in the U.S. healthcare system, organizational management and/or healthcare marketing
