About the role
The Department of Psychology in the School of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an active, extramurally funded research program
- Teach and mentor at the undergraduate and graduate level in the field of Clinical Psychology
- Contribute to graduate clinical training
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology or related field by the appointment date
- Candidates from culturally and ethnically diverse backgrounds and those committed to mentoring students from under-represented demographics in clinical science are strongly encouraged to apply
Qualifications
- Research excellence in any area of clinical science
- Leadership in innovative research programs that complement or expand the program's current research areas of strength, including suicide prevention, tobacco and substance use, anxiety and stress pathology, and behavioral medicine
