About the role

The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision and didactics for psychiatry residents, postdoctoral fellows, psychology interns, and psychology externs in cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety-related disorders across the lifespan.
  • Teach workshops to community clinicians on CBT for anxiety across the lifespan with some specialized content for treating youth.
  • Provide CBT for anxiety-related disorders in children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Conduct diagnostic intake evaluations across the lifespan.

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Licensure to deliver psychotherapy in PA and license eligibility in NJ.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety-related disorders across the lifespan, including among youth.

Skills

  • Excellent teaching skills.
  • Strong clinical skills in providing CBT for anxiety-related disorders.
  • Ability to conduct diagnostic intake evaluations across the lifespan.
