Assistant Professor in Analysis, Mathematics
Tenure-track Assistant Professor (10-month) position in analysis, anticipated to begin August 2027.
About the role
We seek strong candidates working in any area of analysis, including harmonic analysis, measure theory, functional analysis, complex analysis, ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations, geometric analysis, and mathematical physics. Postdoctoral experience is expected, although not absolutely required.
The normal teaching load for research-active faculty is three semester courses per academic year. The Department’s 25 tenure-track mathematics faculty and 42 doctoral students pursue research in algebra, analysis, applied mathematics, and geometry/topology.
