Assistant Professor - Faculty/Clinical Coordinator Surgical Technology

About the Role

The Assistant Professor is responsible for classroom instruction in Surgical Technology courses, ensuring student success and retention while maintaining high academic standards. This is a Safety Sensitive position, subject to a criminal history background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency.
• Credential in surgical technology through a national certification program accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies.
• Minimum of three years of documented experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five years.
• Knowledge of the curriculum and program’s evaluation of student learning and performance.
