Assistant Professor - Epilepsy

About the role

The Department of Neurology at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking outstanding candidates for faculty positions in Neurology. This is an evergreen posting intended to build a pool of qualified applicants for current and future Assistant Professor opportunities across the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in the Epilepsy Center, including long-term video EEG monitoring and advanced diagnostic testing.
• Participate in research activities related to epilepsy, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and surgical treatment options.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative epilepsy care solutions.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in the Neurology program.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Epilepsy Center’s infrastructure and resources.

Requirements

• A PhD in Neurology or a related field.
• Experience in epilepsy diagnosis and management.
• Proven track record of research in epilepsy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Neurology.
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
• Experience with advanced neurological diagnostics and treatments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
