Responsibilities
- Author and publish scholarship in areas including originalism, religious liberty, parental rights, the separation of powers, and related constitutional topics
- Draft amicus curiae briefs in high-impact constitutional cases before federal and state courts
- Produce white papers and op-eds for public-facing policy discourse and media outlets
Leadership & Administration
- Provide strategic vision and day-to-day oversight for the Center’s operations, mission, and growth
- Supervise Senior Counsel, research fellows, and student interns
- Collaborate with the Dean and law faculty to integrate the Center’s work with the School of Law’s academic mission
Public Engagement & Development
- Serve as a public voice for the Center, including appearances on podcasts, television, radio, and other media platforms
- Represent the Center at conferences, symposia, and before legislative and policy audiences
- Lead fundraising efforts, including donor cultivation, grant applications, and development strategy
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Demonstrated record of constitutional law scholarship and/or appellate litigation
- Experience with or aptitude for fundraising and donor relations
- Strong public communication skills across media formats
- Personal commitment to the Christian faith consistent with Regent University’s mission and community standards and statement of faith
Pay
$110,000 - $150,000 annually
