The Department of Neurobiology and Behavior is searching for neurobiologists with expertise and strong scientific interests in cellular neuroscience for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates whose research focuses on membrane physiology, synaptic signaling, cellular physiology and/or biophysics are especially encouraged to apply. We are also interested in researchers who use advanced imaging and/or other functional approaches to investigate cellular and synaptic function. A research program that connects fundamental mechanisms of cellular physiology to healthy brains and/or disease models will be considered a strength. Our Department is home to a diverse and collaborative group of basic and translational researchers. We seek exceptional and creative candidates with a PhD or MD/PhD, or foreign equivalent degree to establish and lead an innovative, laboratory-based research program. We expect candidates to
