Assistant Professor, Clinical Psychological Science (T/TE)

About the role

We seek a tenure-track Psychological Clinical Scientist at the Assistant Professor rank. The successful candidate will contribute to our strengths in health psychology, clinical neuroscience/neuropsychology, psychopathology, and/or intervention science through their research and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality research that advances knowledge in health psychology, clinical neuroscience/neuropsychology, psychopathology, and/or intervention science.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology, including but not limited to health psychology, clinical neuroscience, neuropsychology, psychopathology, and intervention science.
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching and research skills.
• Participate in departmental, university, and community service.

Requirements

• A PhD in Psychology or a related field.
• Strong record of research productivity, including peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
• Experience in mentoring students and junior faculty.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Research expertise in health psychology, clinical neuroscience/neuropsychology, psychopathology, and/or intervention science.
• Track record of securing external funding.
• Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration.
