The position is with the Department of Anesthesiology at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, Marshall University School of Medicine (MUSOM).

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full range of clinical anesthesiology services including general, ortho, neuro, pediatric, NORA, and obstetric cases
• Support and participate in faculty research, academic and quality projects and initiatives
• Participate in medical student and resident education and training
• Participate in the growth and development of the department

Requirements

• Medical degree or foreign equivalent
• Completion of an Anesthesiology residency program
• Board certified/board eligible (BC/BE) in Anesthesiology
• Eligible for licensure in West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Work week: 37.5 hours
• Winter Break: approximately two weeks off in December
