About the role

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Division.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to advancing the health and well-being of children and their families.
  • Collaborate with partners to care, support and empower youth.
  • Notable partnerships include:
    • Rogers Memorial Hospital - A collaborative partner in providing behavioral health services and specialized care for adolescent eating disorders.
    • Milwaukee County Youth Detention Center - Supporting youth in detention.
    • Local Public School - Providing community-based youth support and education.
    • Health Department - Supports the provision of reproductive health services to detained youth.
    • The State of Wisconsin - Assists in support for reproductive health initiatives.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric or Medicine/Pediatric residency program.
  • Fellowship trained and Board Certified/Board Eligible in Adolescent Medicine.
  • State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric or Medicine/Pediatric residency program.
  • Fellowship trained and Board Certified/Board Eligible in Adolescent Medicine.
  • State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.

Skills

  • Expertise in managing eating disorders.
  • Experience with hormonal regulation.
  • Knowledge of reproductive care.
  • Ability to support incarcerated adolescents and young adults.
