About the role
The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of adult psychiatry.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include teaching and supervising medical students and residents in an outpatient setting.
- Clinical responsibilities may include direction of patient care, establishment of diagnosis, development of treatment plans, documentation of treatment services and provision of direct ongoing care and services to psychiatric outpatients.
- Demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
Requirements
- Applicants must have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree from an international medical school.
- Candidates must be board certified/board eligible in psychiatry and eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
