Teaching responsibilities
- Teaching medical students, residents, and genetics fellows within the outpatient and inpatient clinical settings
- Giving clinical lectures to trainees
- The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching responsibilities
Clinical responsibilities
- Providing outpatient and inpatient clinical care in one or more of the following specialties: clinical genetics, biochemical genetics, mitochondrial medicine, genomic medicine
- Clinical focus can be tailored to the applicant's interest and the institution's clinical needs
