Assistant Production Manager - Nights

About the Role

Join the PECNA team as an Assistant Production Manager and contribute to transforming the world through sustainable energy. This role involves managing production lines for Lithium-Ion batteries, implementing manufacturing strategies, and ensuring production goals are met while exceeding customer expectations for quality, cost, and delivery. Responsibilities

• Manage functional production teams to meet manufacturing KPIs.
• Empower, develop, and reward individuals and teams for performance and growth.
• Ensure company resources are utilized to sustain safe manufacturing and distribution excellence.
• Drive ongoing improvements in production efficiency using Lean principles.
• Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to fulfill customer and company goals.
• Attend management meetings and provide detailed input on production goal status.
• Implement production manufacturing strategy and strategic operational goals.
• Transform raw materials, components, and parts into finished Lithium-Ion batteries.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required, including a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit with a respirator.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, or equivalent manufacturing management experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a high-speed/high-volume manufacturing setting.
• Lean Six Sigma and continuous process improvement experience.
• ERP transactional experience.
• 5S experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
