Assistant Principal (Pool)
Job Summary
The Raymondville Independent School District is seeking an Administrative Principal to lead and support educational programs at one of its schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing school operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and promoting student achievement.
About the Role
This position serves as the primary administrative leader for a school, providing vision, direction, and leadership to ensure the effective operation of the school. The Principal is responsible for managing staff, developing and implementing policies, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the school, including budget management, facility maintenance, and personnel administration.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote student success and comply with state and federal guidelines.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff to enhance instructional effectiveness and student achievement.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to education.
- Collaborate with community partners to build partnerships that support student success.
- Supervise and evaluate staff performance, provide professional development opportunities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Education Administration or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least five years of experience in educational administration, preferably in a K-12 setting.
- Valid Texas teaching certificate or equivalent.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with technology integration in the classroom.

Pay
The salary for this position is based on the Administrative Pay Scale 3 for Elementary or Administrative Pay Scale 4 for Middle and High Schools, depending on the grade level of the school.
Schedule
The schedule for this position varies based on the grade level of the school, with Elementary positions having 210 days and MS and HS positions having 220 days.
