About the role

The Assistant Principal position at Juban Parc Jr High School requires a valid Louisiana Teaching certificate with one or more of the specified credentials.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support teachers in the classroom.
• Develop and implement school improvement plans.
• Manage student discipline and conduct.
• Collaborate with other administrators and staff to enhance school culture and climate.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Louisiana Teaching certificate with certification as a principal or Educational Leader 1.
• OR Educational Leader Level 1 or Level 2 certification.
• OR Educational Leader Eligibility endorsement with letter issued by the Louisiana Department of Education.
• OR Out of State Principal certificate or eligibility letter issued by Louisiana Department of Education.
• Five (5) years' successful experience as a classroom teacher.
• A Master's Degree or higher preferred.
• Educational administrative experience preferred.
