Assistant Principal

Primary Responsibilities

• Coach and Develop Educators
• Use the Framework for Teaching to observe, evaluate, and support teachers through meaningful feedback and individualized growth plans
• Lead Instructional Excellence
• Oversee curriculum development, alignment, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality instruction across all classrooms
• Support New Teachers
• Manage the Teacher Induction Program and mentor new educators to set them up for long-term success
• Drive Student Success
• Plan and supervise Extended School Year (ESY) and credit recovery programs
• Build Strong Partnerships
• Serve as a key liaison between families, school districts, advocates, and staff—facilitating collaboration and communication
• Ensure Compliance & Operations
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to all educational and legal requirements

Requirements

• Master's degree in Special Education or related field with principal certification required
• Valid PA Special Education teaching certification required
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in an educational setting related to the instructional process required
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid PA driver's license and car insurance

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually
