About the role
The Assistant Principal will use leadership, supervisory, and administrative skills to assist the principal in his/her promotion of the educational development of each student.
Responsibilities
- Assist the principal in developing and implementing school policies and procedures
- Supervise and evaluate teachers and staff members
- Coordinate extracurricular activities and community partnerships
- Oversee the daily operations of the school
- Work closely with parents and community members to support student success
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role in education
- Valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of state and federal education laws and regulations
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with school management software
