About the role
Responsible for managing pharmacy operations, ensuring patient care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations including inventory management, medication dispensing, and customer service.
- Ensure all medications are accurately labeled and stored according to FDA guidelines.
- Manage staff, schedule shifts, and provide training on new policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate prescription refills and patient education.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies.
- Respond to patient inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Comply with all state and federal healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field.
- Current Florida Pharmacy License.
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacy management experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing a pharmacy team.
- Knowledge of pharmaceuticals and their uses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
