About the role

The Assistant Personal Training Manager will support the Personal Training Manager in managing the personal training program at The Alaska Club. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the personal training department, ensuring all programs are running smoothly, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the personal training program, including scheduling, client management, and program development.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of new personal trainers.
  • Manage the inventory of equipment and supplies used in the personal training sessions.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining records and submitting reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and staff.
  • Support the Personal Training Manager in planning and executing special events and promotions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fitness-related setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of exercise physiology and nutrition.
  • Experience with fitness software and databases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$X per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
