About the role
Seeking an Assistant Pastor for Park Road Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Hollywood, Florida to help the New Generation understand and believe the Good News of God and to help parents lead their youth in Christ.
Responsibilities
- Lead and/or coordinate the youth and young adults’ ministries
- Meet with parents and cultivate a Gospel community
- Assist the senior pastor with teaching and preaching as needed
Qualifications
- Vibrant, reformed faith with knowledge and appreciation of current culture in South Florida
- Warm but assertive person who relies on God’s grace daily and lives in repentant faith toward Jesus Christ
- Consistent commitment to personal spiritual growth
- Deep love for Jesus Christ
- Experience working with youth in a church setting preferred
- Strong relationship, communication, and organizational skills
- Ordained minister
- Gifted to teach and learning to address people with the gospel in the present moment
