Qualifications
- An earned terminal degree from an accredited college or university appropriate for the specific discipline is required.
- Preferred qualifications include PhD, PsyD or EdD in psychology, counseling, or another related mental health field (doctoral candidates in the later stages of their doctoral degree completion may be considered for this position with the expectation that all doctoral degree requirements will be completed within the first year of employment).
- Additional degree or training in divinity or theology is preferred (or prior experience with the integration of Christian worldview in mental health is a plus).
- Prior college teaching experience preferred in addition to proficiency with online instructional technology.
Expectations
- A dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning;
- A record of or potential for academic scholarship;
- The ability to teach undergraduate-level courses;
- Facility with online instructional technology;
- A willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
