About the role

LeTourneau University invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in accounting beginning Spring, Summer, or Fall of 2027. Successful candidates will demonstrate subject matter expertise in accounting and related business disciplines and will teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels in both online and in-person modalities. The role values evidence of teaching excellence, active and collaborative learning, instructional technology use, strong oral and written communication, and demonstrated scholarship potential. LeTourneau seeks candidates excited about collaborating with faculty and stakeholders to expand an innovative, regionally engaged business program.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate accounting and related business courses in online and in-person formats
• Engage students through active and collaborative learning strategies
• Competently integrate instructional technology into teaching
• Collaborate with faculty and stakeholders to enhance the business program
• Contribute to all programs within the School of Business
• Lead students in hands-on learning with emphasis on innovations and technologies in accounting

Qualifications

• An enthusiastic and contagious Christian faith and commitment to Christian higher education that integrates Christian faith and learning
• Authentic support for and alignment with the university’s statement of faith and community covenant
• Preferred: CPA and Ph.D. or DBA in Accounting; Master’s in Accountancy with CPA and substantial industry experience will also be considered
• Evidence of successful university-level teaching
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach
• Commitment to ongoing professional engagement and scholarly activity commensurate with academic rank
