About the role
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Assistant or Associate Professor in Residence (CRNA Specialized Faculty) [R0151221].
Responsibilities
- Teach nursing courses consistent with area of expertise
- Collaborate with other faculty in course development
- Use teaching resources, such as WebCampus/Canvas to foster learning
- Provide student supervision
- Participate in school, university, professional and community service activities
- Teach CRNA-specific courses in the didactic setting and clinical student teaching/simulation
Requirements
- Hold a doctorate in nursing or a related field from an accredited College or university
- Hold or be qualified to hold a Nevada RN license
- Be a CRNA and obtain Nevada CRNA license upon job acceptance
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in academic and/or clinical teaching is preferred

Pay
This position is a 12-month, 3-semester appointment at 50% FTE.
Schedule
This position is based in Las Vegas and requires on-site work across UNLV campuses and clinical locations.
