Assistant Operator

Duties

• Raw material transfer systems for facility extruders
• Locate raw materials in the warehouse
• Responsible for maintaining resin silo levels and refilling when needed
• Provide relief coverage for other extrusion operators during breaks
• Become familiar with mixer job requirements for the facility
• Record material identification and amounts of material used
• Packaging and properly labeling finished material and placing in holding area
• Wear proper PPE as designated by the work instruction
• Maintain clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work on a rotating 12 hour shift schedule from 4pm-4am
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours during the shift
• Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed
• Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day as needed

Pay

Competitive starting pay: $20/hour plus $1.50 night shift premium. Annual increases based on performance and a potential bonus opportunity twice a year.

Schedule

We work 12 hour rotating shifts with every other weekend off. We are hiring for night shift 4pm-4am. Moving to days 4am-4pm is based on hire date.
