Assistant Operator (2289)

About the role

The primary responsibility is to ensure safe, timely, and accurate end-of-line production SAP transactions, quality checks, and coordination support to the Operator I and Operator II.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate production reports
• Perform quality checks on extruded items and products
• Inspect and measure according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Provide support and assistance during start-up, changeover, and shutdown processes
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in material storage and usage areas
• Assist in moving and grinding start-up and scrap materials
• Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment

Requirements

• 0-1 years of manufacturing experience in a complex environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks promptly
• Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to change

Qualifications

• Safety adherence to Pregis policies
• Operational excellence in ensuring quality and productivity
• Continuous improvement mindset

Skills

• SAP knowledge (a plus)
