About the Role
An Assistant Office Manager is a highly engaged leader that possesses a high level of acuity in business acumen and is focused on developing a patient-focused team that is goal oriented.
Responsibilities
- Effective execution of Total Patient Experience (TPE).
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with doctor/doctors associated with office location.
- Enforce all corporate policies and procedures.
- Motivate team members by remaining positive and communicating any changes or news in a supportive and constructive way.
- Assist with executing day-to-day operations of the office, including:
- Monitor and assist with office flow, supply inventory, team member training, and other duties as assigned or needed within the office.
- Assist leading the office by guiding them to success through focused support and coaching as directed by the Office Manager.
- Handle team member and patient questions in the absence of the Office Manager.
Requirements
- Previous medical office experience preferred; previous leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Favorable result on background check as required by state.
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- ABO and NCLE certifications preferred but not required.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Physical Requirements
This role requires a variety of physical activities to effectively perform essential job functions. The position involves:
- Frequent walking (75%), sitting (50%), and standing (50%).
- Regular bending, stooping, and reaching (25–50%).
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items up to 25 lbs.
- Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands for constant grasping, writing/typing, and use of technology.
- Visual and auditory acuity—including color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus—required 100% of the time.
- Occasional driving or climbing may also be necessary.

Schedule
- Full Time.
- Offices are open Monday-Friday 8am-7pm, Saturday 8am-4pm (daily hours vary by location).
- You may need to work a little earlier and/or later as needed.
- You will not work all of these hours, but you must have open availability to work any shift within these hours.
