Responsibilities
- Oversees the day-to-day operation of the department/s
- Assistance with supervision of all personnel of procedures
- Ordering of supplies and equipment
- Managing the schedules
- Excellent organization and communication skills; able to work well in a fast-paced environment; able to handle multiple priorities at one time; able to supervise multiple areas
Qualifications
- Academic degree in nursing required (bachelor's or master's degree)
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field required (health administration, business, public health, or management)
- 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy
- AHA BLS certification
