About the Role

The Assistant Nurse Manager is a clinical leadership position responsible for ensuring safe and efficient patient care in a community teaching hospital. They serve as a role model for Registered Nurses and staff, reviewing patient care assignments, supporting team members, and promoting quality and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care activities and manage workload assignments.
• Collaborate with management to monitor staff performance.
• Facilitate solutions for challenging patient care situations.
• Ensure staff are qualified and appropriately assigned to patient care tasks.

Requirements

• BSN or related field (candidates in the process of completing are considered).
• Current CT RN license required.
• Charge nurse or supervisory experience required with 3-5 years of nursing experience.
