Schedule

• Full time
• Night shift: 6:45pm to 7:15am, rotating weekends
• 3 12-hour shifts a week plus 4 hours for administrative duties

Location: 40100 HWY 27, Davenport, Florida 33837

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned direct reports including recruitment, hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, development, education, competencies, performance evaluations, and payroll functions.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills, creativity, and resource management to achieve quality performance and positive employee relations.
• Fosters a culture of psychological safety, where team members feel supported, valued, and empowered to speak up, share concerns, and contribute meaningfully.
• Promotes evidence-based practice, ensuring quality outcomes, and fostering a culture of safety, compassion, and continuous learning.
• Provides ongoing education and training to nursing staff to maintain high competency levels.
• Prepares the unit for audits and surveys by monitoring and maintaining unit compliance with regulatory standards, accrediting, hospital policies while coordinating staff education to maintain competencies and preparedness.
• Manages nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care.
• Conducts regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns and provide guidance.
• Assists in developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing service programs to ensure quality nursing and patient care.
• Manages budgets and resources efficiently to meet financial and operational goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of hospital policies, procedures and legal aspects of acute care nursing [Required]
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing [Required]
• Basic computer skills, including experience with an Electronic Health Record [Required]
• Five or more years of current clinical experience [Preferred]
• Cerner documentation [Preferred]

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in Nursing
• 5+ years of current clinical experience [Preferred]
• 5+ years of hospital experience [Preferred]

Skills

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required]
• Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) [Preferred]
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) [Preferred]

Pay

• Pay Range: $32.79 - $60.99 per hour
• Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates
• Up to $10,000 Relocation Bonus for eligible candidates
