Job Description
Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
- Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses and needs.
- Assess patients' conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and address any complications.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.
- Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance.
Qualifications
- Associate's of Nursing (Required)
- Bachelor's of Nursing
- Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - Accredited Issuing Body
- Chemotherapy Certificate (CHEMO) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (CEFM) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Medical Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (MEDSURG-BC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) - Accredited Issuing Body
