Assistant Nurse Manager
About the role
The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for the performance and oversight of clinical patient care for nursing and medical assistants. The Assistant Nurse Manager works in collaboration with the Nurse Manager for the population health management of clinic patient panel using data to improve clinical care workflows that lead to improvement of the quality of patient care and enhance cost effectiveness. The Assistant Nurse Manager will also support staff education, onboarding, and training of new hires. The Assistant Nurse Manager is a member of the management team and may be assigned clinical responsibility for one or more units. The RN practices professional nursing as defined by the Texas Board of Nursing, Texas Nurse Practice Act and by adhering to organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines.
