Assistant Night Manager

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor activities of all employees in the overnight department.
• Maintain a professional and high-quality service-oriented environment at all times.
• Manage the night shift route, ensuring all employees perform the tasks assigned to them and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Assist overnight crew with exhaust cleaning (power washing, scraping, wiping down equipment, vacuuming, climbing ladders, hinging fans, covering kitchen equipment in plastic, etc. as needed).
• Be aware and able to enforce all safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, assigning nightly work, conducting training, conducting counseling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and reward.
• Should show initiative, problem-solving ability, staff training, and team-leading skills.
• Avoid any other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of growing management responsibility.
• Hood Cleaning experience preferred.
• Computer skills- word, excel, internet, other computer applications.
• Organization skills and time management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Previous experience working nights a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Be physically able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments.
• Ability to squat, lift, and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet.
• Able to stand for 10 hours at a time.
• Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently.
