Assistant Network Engineer (POP In-charge)
Perform site survey
Perform site survey of remote locations to ensure quality installation of all racks, equipment power plants, fiber cable, etc.
Report any and all defects to the Higher Key.
On-call Rotation
Participate in on-call rotation schedule for nights and weekends.
Other Duties
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned.
Outdoor Work
Work outdoors in all kinds of weather and at all times of the day or night.
Power Lines and Electricity
Work near power lines and electricity.
Reports
Prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing information.
Coordination
Cookordinate with network operation team to ensure rollout plan and service delivery.
Field Operation Team
Manage field operation team and report to line Manager.
Splicing Fiber Cable
Splice fiber cable for large cable transfers.
Graphical Design
Design for Cable maintenance, Connection testing.
Technical Resource
Serve as a technical resource for staff on all fiber related areas and technical procedures.
PoP In-charge
Be accountable for all aspects of PoP maintenance and related responsibilities.
Additional Tasks
Perform any additional tasks assigned by his Supervisor/Team Leader.
