Assistant Men's Rowing Coach (PT)
Job Summary
The part-time Men's Rowing Coach will assist the Men's Rowing Coach with the organizing, planning, and coaching of the Men's Rowing team. The ideal candidate is a former collegiate rower with experience in coaching.
About the Role
This role involves assisting with team practices and races, collaborating with the coaching staff, and supporting student-athlete development both athletically and academically. Other responsibilities include assisting the head coach with various duties, coordinating team travel, and planning on-campus recruiting and camps and clinics.
Responsibilities
- Affirmatively assist the Men's Rowing Coach during team practices and races.
- Collaborate with the coaching staff to plan and execute team activities.
- Support student-athlete development in both athletics and academics.
- Affirmatively assist the head coach with other duties to ensure the success of the program, including fundraising, operations, and logistics.
- Affirmatively assist in the coordination of team travel with other rowing and athletic department staff.
- Follow all university, athletic department, NCAA, and IRA rules and policies.
- Affirmatively assist in the planning and organization of on-campus recruiting and camps and clinics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Former collegiate rower or coach with knowledge of rowing preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
- 1 year of experience.
Skills
- Knowledge of rowing.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the coaching staff.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to follow university and NCAA rules and policies.

Schedule
Part-time per diem position.
