Qualifications
Knowledge
- Principles and practices of medical administration, including program planning, development, and evaluation
- Laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing medical practice and healthcare delivery
- Public health principles and their application in community health settings
- Budgeting and financial management in a healthcare environment
- Leadership and management techniques for supervising professional and technical staff
Abilities
- Plan, organize, and direct medical programs and services
- Interpret and apply medical laws, regulations, and policies
- Analyze complex medical and administrative problems and develop effective solutions
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with medical professionals, staff, and the public
