Assistant Marketing Coordinator

About the role

As an Assistant Marketing Coordinator, you will learn the proposal process including strategizing and customizing proposals to best present F.H. Paschen to potential clients. You will work with the marketing team to prepare RFQs and assist as needed with marketing proposals. You will also work with the VP of Business Development to coordinate event attendance and registration. It’s important that our team members are involved in all areas of F.H. Paschen’s overall marketing strategy. This may include project award submissions, marketing database updates, and other special projects that will expand your skills and understanding of this exciting and ever-changing industry.

Responsibilities

• Work with team to produce prequals (RFQs)
• Review requirements of RFQs
• Assist with creative and technical writing
• Create and update staff resumes and project profiles
• Maintain/update Marketing database including custom reporting
• Coordinate event attendance & registration
• Provide research and administrative support to VP Business Development
• Other duties as assigned
• Create graphics for proposals, etc.
• Prepare award submissions

Qualifications

• College degree in English, marketing, or communications and/or minimum 2 years related experience required
• Exceptional communication, writing and follow up skills required
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Familiarity with InDesign publishing software and Unanet/Cosential database are helpful
• Exceptional attention to detail, follow up, and writing skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with Adobe InDesign and Acrobat Pro helpful
• Involves sitting, walking, stooping, bending, reaching and lifting
• Can involve lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
