About the role

Join our high-energy convenience store as an Assistant Manager and be the steady hand that keeps our store energized and running strong on any shift. You’ll support the Store Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations while stepping in as acting manager when needed.

Responsibilities

• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to consistently upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store fully stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store—including restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership that motivates your team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Open availability, including weekends, holidays, and primarily second or third shifts.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance for bank deposits.
• Physical readiness for tasks such as cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining outside areas like pumps.
• Minimum age of 18+ years old.
• Proficiency in English with basic math skills.
• Must have (or be able to obtain) a Food Safety Certification.
