Assistant Manager Restaurant

About the role

Corky's Kitchen and Bakery in Perris is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the daily operations of the restaurant, supporting the General Manager in optimizing profits, hiring, training, and developing new employees, providing leadership and direction, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and security rules, taking disciplinary action when necessary, supervising employees, and maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Optimizing profits by controlling costs
• Hiring, training, and developing new employees
• Providing leadership and direction to all employees
• Ensuring that health, safety, and security rules are followed
• Taking disciplinary action when necessary
• Supervising employees to Maximize Restaurant Operations
• Ensuring a consistent standard of customer service
• Assisting/accommodating guest whenever necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience in restaurant management
• Demonstrated leadership skills, coaching, and directing
• Self-motivated and possess the desire for self-development
• Schedule flexibility including holidays, weekends, morning, mid, and closing shifts

Qualifications

• Completion of a background check

• Restaurant Industry Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
