About the Role

This role plays a significant part in theatre operations, leading by example to deliver superior guest service in a fast-paced, clean, and safe environment. You will supervise and motivate hourly theatre associates while ensuring all company objectives and financial targets are met.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for guests by greeting, anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, and implementing creative solutions to provide exceptional service.
- Supervise, motivate, reward, and coach associates to drive performance and guest satisfaction.
- Execute systems and processes to keep the theatre running smoothly, including cash handling, daily balancing of drawers, reports, safe procedures, and open/close protocols.
- Assist with hiring, training, and development of associates.
- Evaluate key performance indicators to drive guest satisfaction and results.
- Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and drive traffic into the theatre.
- Follow direction from theatre and corporate management teams.
- Operate projection equipment, including projectors, servers, and sound equipment.
- Drive sales within the facility, including MMR, loyalty registration, upselling, and suggestive selling.
- Enforce corporate policies, rules, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Manage theatre inbox, answer NPS comments, and facilitate guest issue resolution with positive recovery.
- Partner with vendors to order concession items, liquor, soda, dry goods, and janitorial supplies as needed.
- Maintain general front-of-house, back-of-house, and kitchen line cleanliness, stock levels, safety, and aesthetics.
- Understand PCI compliance and handle safety concerns, including accident reports and TCAT.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computer systems (Microsoft® Word, Excel, POS System, Vista, Cielo, etc.).
- Process daily requests from corporate office or supervisors via phone and email.
- Coach and counsel associates, including understanding new hire processes, paperwork, and orientation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations, District Director, General Manager, or Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Supervisory experience in a high-volume movie theatre, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Willingness and motivation to learn new skills, tasks, and software systems.
- Flexible work schedule, including late evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business needs.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure or during difficult situations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in Business Management and Marketing preferred.
- Ability to obtain food handling licenses and any government or hospitality-required permits (e.g., State Health Card, Local Food Service/Handling Permit, State Liquor Service Permit).
Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Required to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. while handling kitchen, cooking, or concession items.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Work is performed in a theatre, kitchen, and office environment with low to moderate noise levels; occasional loud environments may occur.
- Wearing a face mask is required during scheduled working hours.

Pay
Starting pay at $17 per hour.
