About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Assistant Manager who will drive theatre operations by leading with example, delivering exceptional guest service, and motivating staff in a fast-paced, clean, and safe environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and achieving financial goals.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old with supervisory experience in a high-volume theatre, cinema, retail, or hospitality setting.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Eager to learn new skills, tasks, and software to meet evolving industry demands.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs; work involves standing, walking, and occasional sitting.
- Ability to obtain food handling licenses as required by local/state laws.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; business or marketing coursework preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily theatre operations including staffing, scheduling, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures.
- Train, coach, and develop associates while fostering a positive and service-driven environment.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor cleanliness, maintenance, and safety across all areas.
- Operate and troubleshoot projection and sound equipment, as well as POS and other theatre systems.
- Support hiring processes, orientation, and ongoing associate development.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local laws, audit processes, and PCI regulations.
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism, ensuring positive service recovery and managing theatre communications.
- Analyze business trends to drive sales, optimize schedules, and support corporate initiatives.
