Assistant Manager - New Model Launch Marine Operations

About the role

This leadership position oversees the execution quality and timing of new product launches, ensuring validation, compliance, and readiness for market introduction. It involves supervising the Rigging & Parts Specialist, managing resources and operations of the New Model Marine team, and coordinating warehouse recovery activities for service campaigns and safety recalls to maintain product quality and customer trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational readiness from pre-launch validation to post-launch support for new models.
• Coordinate field testing to identify performance and durability risks prior to market release.
• Document and communicate service issues and corrective actions with engineering and operations teams.
• Support sales and service training with product knowledge and technical data.
• Plan and manage warehouse campaigns, logistics, and cross-department activities.
• Supervise rigging activities, goal-setting, and resource management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• 8+ years in product quality, validation, manufacturing, field support, or related fields.
• Experience working with mechanical or electro-mechanical products, troubleshooting, and interpreting technical documentation.

Skills

• Strong project coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership experience preferred.
