Assistant Manager -- Cross-Over (Glastonbury & South Windsor) Company: Ben & Jerry's Franchise Group Locations: Glastonbury, CT and South Windsor, CT (split coverage between both shops) Reports to: General Manager / Operations Director Employment Type: $20-$24 an hour (includes tips) About The Role We're looking for a Cross-Over Assistant Manager to support day-to-day operations at both our Glastonbury and South Windsor scoop shops. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, adapts quickly to different teams, and can bring consistency in standards, culture, and execution across two locations during our busy season and beyond. What You'll Do Split shifts/coverage between both locations based on needOpen/close shifts: cash handling, sanitation, safetySupervise and coach team members at both shopsServe as manager-on-duty; resolve customer/operational issuesSupport scheduling, onboarding, and inventory across locationsKeep both GMs aligned and uphold brand standards What You Bring 1+ years supervisory/shift-lead experience (food service, retail, or QSR)Reliable transportation; able to travel between both sitesStrong communicator, adaptable across teamsCalm under pressure during high-volume shiftsFlexible availability -- nights, weekends, holidays
