Position Overview The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of our newly opened Miami store, helping ensure it is fully stocked, the team is trained and motivated, and operational processes run smoothly from day one. You will lead the shop floor in the Store Manager's absence, work closely with Global management and cross-functional teams, and help the store meet its sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Store Operations & Opening SupportSupport the Store Manager with all operational aspects of the store, including layout, merchandising, inventory control and stock replenishmentWork with cross-functional teams (marketing, HR, logistics and visual merchandising) to deliver a successful launch and ongoing store eventsHelp ensure all operational systems (POS, stock systems, etc.) are set up and used correctly Team Leadership & TrainingSupervise, coach and motivate the store team to deliver an exceptional customer experienceSupport the onboarding and training of new team members so they meet operational and customer service standardsHelp foster a positive and inclusive store culture that reflects the company's valuesLead the store in the Store Manager's absence, including opening and closing procedures Operational ExcellenceOversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency, quality and profitabilityHelp maintain optimal inventory levels so the store is always stocked with the right productsEnsure compliance with all company policies, procedures and operational standards Customer ExperienceSet the example for superior customer service and an engaging, welcoming store environmentResolve customer issues and feedback promptly and professionally, striving to exceed expectationsUse customer data and trends to help improve service and drive sales Sales & Financial PerformanceHelp track store performance against sales targets and work with the team to meet or exceed themSupport the Store Manager in controlling costs and maximising profitabilityHelp deliver merchandising and promotional activity that drives footfall and sales Continuous ImprovementReview store operations regularly and recommend process improvementsStay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity and new retail technologies that can improve efficiency and customer satisfaction Requirements Requirements3+ years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader roleExperience supporting a new store opening or working in a high-volume retail environment is a plusGood understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising and sales targetsStrong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach and train a teamGood analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make decisionsExceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering an outstanding shopping experienceAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple prioritiesFlexible and adaptable, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlinesProficiency in retail management systems, POS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite
