Essential Duties
- Aid the manager in organizing, planning, and implementing strategy
- Resolve customer issues to their overall satisfaction
- Explore opportunities to add value to the job and recommend changes to the manager
- Participate in recruitment and dismissal processes with Human Resources
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and health and safety procedures
- Coach, counsel, and discipline employees
- Motivate employees and ensure a focus on the mission
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment
- Fill in for the manager in times of absence
- Make executive decisions, hold/attend meetings, and provide accountability
- Perform other duties as assigned
Shift
Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:30pm with possible overtime and/or weekend work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid US Driver’s License
- Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge)
- Drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
- Knowledge of quality systems and standards
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques
- Knowledge of machines and tools
- Knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practices
- Solid computer skills
- Problem-solving abilities and detail orientation
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and communicate clear and concise instructions to employees
Physical Working Attributes
- Lift, push, and/or pull up to 50lbs
- Work near high noise levels
- Periodically exposed to all outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, insects and other conditions which may exist from time to time
